SJM Heavy Duty Banded Wedge V-Belts are designed for demanding power transmission applications where multiple belts operate together as a single unit. By permanently joining individual wedge belts with a reinforced tie band, these belts provide greater stability, improved load distribution, and reliable performance under heavy shock loads.
The reinforced construction helps reduce belt whip, vibration, and belt turnover, making banded belts ideal for drives with pulsating loads, long center distances, and frequent starts and stops. They are commonly used in industrial machinery, compressors, pumps, conveyors, agricultural equipment, and other heavy-duty applications requiring dependable power transmission.
Available profiles include: R-A, R-B, R-C, R-D, R-E, R-SPZ, R-SPA, R-SPB, R-SPC, R-3V, R-5V, and R-8V.
